EKKO FAQ'S

  • WHAT ARE EKKO MEETups ALL ABOUT?

A typical EKKO Meetup (Sundays, or Wednesdays, for EKKO MID) will generally kick off with mingle time, moving into a game time, then to a time of prayer & worship, leading into a brief time of teaching, and ending with some form of teen-approved, not-so-healthy snack (and once a month...a meal!) time.  Lots of silliness, lots of warmth and lots of 'come as you are'!

  • ARE THE MEETINGS IT, OR IS THERE MORE?

Why, yes, there's more...oh, so much more.  Because genuine relationship--rooted in the Gospel--is the desired outcome of this ministry, seeing each other once a week simply won't do.  Think postcards of encouragement, seeing students participate in extracurriculars, one-on-one time over food, weekend retreats, Bible discussion/coffee at Commonplace, service projects; a mere sampling of how we do this thing!

  • WHAT SHOULD I KNOW AS A PARENT?

First, no child at Indiana Alliance Church will be served by anyone without ALL required clearances on hand for volunteering with a minor.  We do take security very seriously, and thus all students will be required to remain within only the approved spaces in the building while in the church, and the arrival doors are locked promptly at 6:15 (Sundays only); if you will be arriving with your child late, you will need to contact either Bryan or Wanda to gain entry.
